What Essential Oils Are Good for Mental Fatigue?

It is cheaper than therapy and longer lasting than an espresso !

I’m in the middle of a serious job search right now, and if you are too, you’ll know it’s a long and exhausting process. It’s easy to feel like you’re just going through the motions, endless applications, interviews, and waiting until you're left feeling completely knackered.

That's what I've been trying to overcome I needed a scent that was sharp, clean, and invigorating something that could cut through the mental clutter and help me regain my focus.

DIY Diffuser Blend for Mental Fatigue: Rosemary & Grapefruit

What You’ll need:

  • A diffuser.

I’m using a diffuser lamp here (a present from my sister, years ago), but the same blend also works in the mist diffusers.

  • Water

  • 2 Essential oils: Grapefruit and Rosemary

What I do

  1. Fill the diffuser with water.

  2. Add the essential oils:

5 drops of Grapefruit oil for its uplifting scent

and 4 drops of Rosemary oil for mental clarity and concentration

  3. Switch it on and let the scent fill the room.

4. Once the diffuser’s running, I like to put a bit of piano jazz or do a few simple stretches. Nothing fancy just some deep breathing, gentle neck and shoulder rolls, and few sun salutation rounds. It‘s just enough to shake things off :)
